As our Chief Executive Officer, Spencer leads Gottex Brokers through the ever-changing financial marketplace. With over 20 years of experience in the company, Spencer continues to drive the company forward while maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Originally from London, Spencer knew early on that he wanted to work in the financial services industry. With a natural aptitude for financial markets and investment banking, he secured his first position as a trader at a large Japanese securities firm.

In the mid-1990s, Spencer moved to Switzerland and joined Gottex as a broker. More than 20 years later, Spencer continues to thrive on his ability to secure the best deals for his clients, thanks to his deep industry knowledge, coupled with exceptional insight and intuition.

A strong advocate of the company’s traditional family values, he embraces its team spirit, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to its clients.

As a member of the Management Team, Gérald is both Head of Interest Rate Products and the Swiss Franc desk. His professionalism and commitment towards his clients has been instrumental in establishing Gottex as Europe’s leading Swiss Franc broker.

Gerald began his career in 1979 as a trainee in a Swiss bank, where he learned the inner workings of the financial world by spending time across all departments. The moment he walked into the dealing room, he knew where his future lay, and upon completing his training in 1982, he joined a leading foreign exchange brokerage in Geneva.

Gérald eased into the trade and soon became one of the company’s most successful brokers. In 1989 he joined Gottex Brokers and has not looked back since.

Today, with more than 25 years of experience in the company, Gérald still enjoys the excitement and unpredictability of working on the dealing room floor. His unrivalled local knowledge, coupled with the accuracy and diligence for which both Gérald and Gottex are known, has allowed him to offer his clients a bespoke and elite level of service.

Pierre-Antoine began his career by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce at Montreal’s HEC in his native Canada. He became a Certified Public Accountant and soon after graduated with a Master’s in Financial Accounting, before taking his first job in auditing at professional services giant Ernst & Young.

His role as an auditor gave him operational insight into a wide variety of businesses and industries, as well as a thorough understanding of the complexity of finance. He moved to Switzerland in 2009, working in a number of advisory roles for Ernst & Young before joining Gottex Brokers in 2012 as a financial analyst.

Pierre-Antoine’s roles and responsibilities have evolved consistently over the course of his career at Gottex. He has worked across all aspects of the business, and in his guise as Chief Financial Officer, oversaw its expansion across Europe. Today, as a member of the management team, he is responsible for the Finance, Operations, and IT divisions, as well as Compliance and the day-to-day management of the office.

As a member of the Management Team, Niels leads a diversified portfolio of services. Focusing primarily on Swiss Franc and Cross-Currency Basis swaps, he has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets across Europe.

Following a degree in Business Management, Niels began his career coupling his mandatory French military service with a position in a bank. It was here that he found his calling, and subsequently became a broker in Paris in 1993, before joining Gottex in 2005.

Niels identifies flexibility and efficiency as the key competitive advantages of Gottex Brokers, and takes great pride in the strength of his relationships with clients, and his added value as both a broker and advisor.
